This project identified regulatory and administrative obstacles facing small business and limiting economic development. The GTZ Red Tape Reduction methodology was followed in terms of strengthening partnerships between the Municipality and the private sector as part of an ongoing public-private partnership mechanism for continuous improvement. We produced a case study report on lessons learnt from this project for the Independent Centre for Learning on LED through Monitoring and Research which can be reviewed online
