Co-facilitated the establishment of the South African Oil and Gas Alliance (a public private partnership to facilitate the development and growth of the off-shore oil and gas industry in South Africa. Rae served as Board Director on SAOGA and participated in SAOGA’s governance, strategy and business plan development processes including its marketing and branding strategy development process. The off-shore oil and gas sector has pumpe hundreds of millions of Rands into the South African economic. SAOGA was recently incorporated into the South African Blue Economy Ocean Strategy and Operation Phakisa to ensure improved coordination and implementation.
