The National Department of Provincial and Local Government and GTZ (German Technical Cooperation) initiated a Business Investment Climate benchmarking and improvement programme in 5 Districts in South Africa and we were commissioned to design the survey methodology and run the first pilot survey. A total of 300 businesses were interviewed and surveyed across various sectors. The findings informed recommendations to improve the investment climate.
