PETCO: Enterprise Development Strategy and Policy as well as a ED Monitoring and Evaluation Framework (2020)

PETCO aims to create a transparent, impact-driven Enterprise Development (ED) system to support the PET value chain in SA through facilitating growing ED investment by its network of stakeholders in the provision of effective and efficient ED support relevant addressing the various enterprise development and growth needs of different categories of majority black-owned upstream collectors and recyclers of PET. This will contribute towards improved collection and recycling of PET in SA, reduced negative environmental impacts, and transformation of the waste and recycling sector in SA.

Impact Economix developed the following for PETCO to assist it to leverage corporate funds for ED and ensure such funds resulting in sustainable enterprise development:
1. An ED Policy and Strategy
2. An ED Monitoring and Evaluation Framework comprising detailed indicators, a monitoring plan and an evaluation strategy.
3. A Request for Proposals to obtain ED proposals from service providers.
